How good is slayer on a pure

Soooo i have a pure pretty much maxed (don't want higher str and mage is 99 already)
but the range level is 70 i was wondering how good slayer is exp wise (without cannon but with blowpipe) and gp wise.

As you miss out on the slayer helmet and basically need to pray/safespot everything is it worth training my range to 99 doing slayer or not?

Also what would the price difference with a max pure be if one had 50 slayer and one 75

 

Well certain tasks are very annoying on a pure (those kurask thingies etc). Did some leveling on a pure once and it sucked because of that.

 

Just can't afk like you can on a main besides that you should be fine.

 

Is it worth it after lvl 60 to use blowpipe and ppots or are you just losing money?

 

Depends on the task, if you can break even from the loot and get it done quickly then it's ok.

 

In my opinion its useless.. just stick to NMXZ

For a max pure I would say 70 would be useful for safespot ranging kurasks if you ever wanted to AFK some money or needed to rebuild

 

If you want to train slayer efficiently I would definitely recommend leveling up your defence, otherwise it's super difficult

If you're aiming for 99 range through slayer, you should just invest in cannoning. It's cheap af anyway, blowpiping only will probably average 80k doing tasks so you might as well nmz.

 

Unless the pure is your main account slayer is pretty useless on a pure. Slayer on a pure is pretty much just a " hey look at me " kind of thing, unless you specifically want a like kraken pet or hellpuppy you should just skip slay. You could always get 72 to afk wyverns but even that is eh. I cannoned 70-83 range on my pure I'm selling and using bp from 75-83 and pray melee on every task I ended up with 66 slay. Would probaly have ended up with around low 80s from 99 range. And would of spent a solid 75m+ between scales p pots and cballs lmao

How about a zerker?

 

60 att zerk = no no,
75 att zerk = very good . There's a youtuber named parking meter who's 99 slay. He makes bank while banging out every boss there is

 

Pure slayer is awful, xp rates are 13k-15k an hour lol!

 

It is useless, because pures are for Pk or stakes, not for Pvming.

I used wildy slayer to get 72 slayer on my pure. Almost all the tasks are either safespotted, don't hit you for much, or can be prayed with monk robes on. I only died once when I was 40 hp doing a fire giant task in lvl 50 wildy, and the guy one hit me with ballista. After I got higher HP, never died.

Made around 10-13m from the emblems too.
