Oral presentation help/advice ( i need help! )

well a week from today i have to orally present my project... and well im the biggest pussy ALIVE... everytime i even think about going up their my stomach starts to hurt... and i need some advice from ppl who are good at it... this is exactly wut happens... i sit their she calls on my name my fucking stomach ACHES like shit then when i get up their i get light headed, and my face turns red and i start LITERALLY SHAKING!!! like i just pissed my pants and i know people notice that im shaking.. so can anybody help so i can get my embarrasness/nervousness away... btw im very close to the class i know everybody they know me but i always get nervous! its fucking driving me nuts i have an F in english becuz of 2 essays we had to do then orally present its so i didnt do em then i didnt have to present, but i this project i HAVE to present even if we dont do it... so im pretty much fucked... im gana shake and everybody in that class is the same ppl in my history and their gana be like, " hahahahaha fool u wur hella shaking when u wur presenting... " anybody help me? PLEASE? leave some advice or help thanks

i did it "WITHOUT SMOKING" rofl i got away witht teh first one we ran outa time but i still had to present the book report but i took a piece of paper to read so i didnt have to look at the students =D thanks sythe!... u guys r waiy nicer than fagex.net

 

I recommemend you stop caring what people think about you... Thats what I would do, but if that won't work do this.

Just talk to your teacher and make up some sob story about how you are scared of public talking, and you much rather present to the teacher during lunch, before or after school. MOst teachers would accept this...

There's no reason to be nervous. Unless your presentation is crap and would look like a complete idiot to present it, you have nothing to worry about. Just ask to go first and than you can be the one making the others nervous D:

Go first, even if you make a complete dumb ass of yourself than you give lots of time for people to forget about hou you made yourself look like a dumb ass and remember how much the person that went after you did.

 

Some helpful hints...
ACT confident.
Practice it in front of your family.
On the day make sure you get to sleep early and wake up fresh.
Look and feel your best.
Wear your best uniform / clothes you have.
Confidence is the key.
Even if you arent confident ACT it K?

Just come in early and tell your teacher you have to go to the dentist and won't make it to his class. Then ask if you can do your oral presentation in front of him before school.

 

ok...now im even more FUCKED... thanks for the help guys i think i may try some... but now i have to present my report THEN!..... (she assigned us to this today) we gota talk about a book that we enjoyed infront of the class...... i hate this shit

 

If it's English class, I see no reason why you should get an F, because of public speaking.

Ask your teacher if you can just present it to her before school.

 

Pff im not good with presentations lol, but i sure am funny, so you gotta add some humour in like the way you talk and stuff none of them shit witty one liners, oh btw my teacher says we can one by one do our presentation outside the classroom with her or in another room.
