The guy with 120 posts verifies it, but I don't.
The whole idea is pretty much just asking them
to come in to the bounty hunter thing with there items.
On top of that, you have just as much chance at getting owned as they have;

I tried this myself and i could not find anyone stupid enough
to go in to Bounty Hunter with there good items.

Actually, I said it was a stupid idea, and it hardly qualified as a lure.
If you check the top of the "RS2 Guide Sales" forum, you'll notice a thread which reads "Do Not Sell Crap Guides".

 

I've seen Red Dwarf verify many guides, even though I never bought a guide he verified.
