    Pc Help.
    Why '3GB Ram' ? You wont need that much RAM unless you're planning to use windows Vista.

    Oh, and RAM performs better in pairs, like 4 X 1GB for example.

    oh sure a quad core a unnecessary waste of $300. His CPU will run fine and you have to put cost into the picture.
