Why will my laptop not play games?

I recently bought my laptop and I cannot play the games I bought for it.

I can download the games but when I play them it is super laggy.


They said my base score is a 2.6 and I needed a 3.0. My lowest score to make the base score was my 3d gaming compenet.

Is there anyway to change grafix card or raise it to a 3.0?

perhaps you have a bad internet connection? Perhaps you dont have the latest version of java/other programs installed? Perhaps you bought a terrible labtop, i dont know, tell me in more detail than "its super laggy"

Ram is fine, CPU is pretty decent.

My guess is that it's the graphics card.

That laptop is probably using onboard graphics. You can buy graphics cards for laptops but they are a bit more expensive than standard graphics cards.

 

1st off VISTA = BIGGEST PEICE OF SHIT OUT .

2ndly It is most probably your graphics card.

if it isnt your graphics card / your shit vista operating system, check your internet connection and see if you have any background programs running.

if it isnt any of them, possibly a format of your hard-drive could help?.. i wouldnt do this though as it is most probably a waste of time and will leave u with nothing =]

 

The game I am playing is halo2. I am not using the internet for that game at the moment. It's for windows vista only so I have to use it =[.

I also tried halo 1 and it didn't work

I need to know if you need to open up a laptop to put a new graphics card in also.

Yes, you will need to open up your laptop to put a graphics card in it.

I think you can get external graphics which just sit out of your laptop, but I think they are piles of shit.

Okay first off, you cant change a laptop's Graphics card. Second Try Down Grading back to xp or turn off all the eye candy on vista, That might proove to add some performance.
