Macro ban without botting?

Ok so there was an account I was building that ended up getting a macro ban. I never autoclicked, botted, or ANYTHING on that account. Only thing I did was buy some gold, and eventually sell some gold on it.

Do they do macro bans for RWT?

I'v been debating autoclicking alching, as from what i'v heard nobody really has had any problem with it, but I would hate to start autoclicking and get a ban because my IP might have been flagged since that accounts ban.

It has been a good 5 or 6 months probably since that account, I just am not sure if I should do it or not.

were you actively playing when it was banned, or were you away for a few months and came back to a ban?

 

There are a number of things that could have triggered it. If you were using garbage proxies that have been flagged in the past for botting that is one thing that could trigger it. Another possibility that could have taken place is if you consistently no life on your account for 18+ hours a day for an extended amount of days Jagex can hit you with a macro major (manual) ban if they feel like the activity you do is too strenuous for a human being to be performing. I have been banned in the past for macro major (manual) for both of these reasons which is extremely frustrating especially when you are playing legitimately.

how long did they ban you for ? did they accept that you were playing legitimately ? that's so annoying.

 

Did you bot on another account on the same IP?
If you sold gold too I could imagine maybe they assumed you macroed for it.

How old is the account you want to bot on? If you have a dynamic ip and made the account recently I doubt you are still flagged after half a year.

I have seen people post about being banned for auto clicking but rarely, I would assume they didn't use good habits. Whatever you choose, be smart.

 

Macro major whether it is manual or not is a permananet ban. At the time I was hand training over 20 accounts at nmz during their working hours on the same ip (not a smart thing to do). Actions like this I guess can trigger suspicious activity and they just went ahead and banned 11/20 of them. To answer your next question, no the accounts are still banned. Jagex is not the most rational of companys, but it is hard to fault them since no average player has the need to play on that many accounts at a time.

 

I'v had this account for months now but i'v done everything by hand, i'v only done about an hour of auto clicking but i stopped when i made this post and i haven't since, still trying to debate if i want to do it. It seems like a lot of people use them and have no issues. I'm just a panzy.

I found some autoclicker that changes up the clicks it does and moves slightly to make it seem more human, might use that one over the normal garyshood one

 

I feel that since you have legit play time with some account age you would be alright to auto click. I used an auto clicker by Murgee for my zerker and it had random time and mouse clicks.

I did get away with it and decided that Jagex is probably detecting this through over use and not auto clicking itself. I can understand being cautious as you should.

I would do this only when they are not on bot watch (8am-6pm) gmt. Take manual breaks and do a easy quest once in a while. I see some people say they use garyshood but I believe that is definitely detectable.

I have been debating setting it up before I go to bed, and then when I wake up during the night "which i normally do" i'd just stop it and go back to sleep, even if it did like 2k or something, just to change it up, and then randomly do it during the day.

I NEVER bot, legit I never do, but auto clicking doesn't seem all that bad and would be kinda nice to get past all the aids alching i'm going to have to do.

My irl friend had one of his friends autoclick 99 mage on his pure, he did it at PC and was doing it nonstop and never got a ban so I feel like doing a few hours of alching a day wouldn't be so bad.

Obviously it's a risk regardless but it doesn't seem like as big of a risk with autoclicking, espeically since so many people use it for alching, NMZ, etc.

If you're using it before bed make sure you can get up to stop the bot or set your computer to shut down on its own so you don't over run it by mistake. Other then that if you don't do more than a few hours at a time I don't think you're running that high of a risk.

I have heard a lot of stories of people getting 3-4 of their accounts to 94/99 mage through auto clicking. I have botted quite a bit on osrs and have had good success.

 

I have autoclicked tons of mules to 55 magic by using teleportation spells and have never been banned. Done 20+ times probably.

 

ah that makes more sense, but still a bit unfair from them in my opinion.
