My PC = zombie? Help plz

ok my comp is turning into what i would call a zombie computer dead,worthless,trash. i dont know why its doing this but resently it has been saying that i have low disk space or memory and when i try to uninstall things it says theres not enough memory to uninstall?? and i dont know what to do here are some things that are happening

-msn says it cant connect.
-when i close things i have to CTRL-ALT-delete and processes and end process ect.like when i try to open firefox sometimes it says its bust or something like that.
-its just overall being slow and retarded.
-sometimes rs wont load. (a red X in the corner.)

any ideas of how to fix my comp??

 

It would be nice if you could be a bit more specific but I'll try to go over each problem one by one.

'it has been saying that i have low disk space or memory and when i try to uninstall things it says theres not enough memory to uninstall??' - You need to find out if it's saying that you don't have enough disk space or if you don't have enough RAM (Memory) as these are 2 completly different th'ings.


'-msn says it cant connect.' - This shouldn't be hardware related, this will be a problem with your internet connection I imagine. Check that your firewall isn't blocking MSN.


'when i close things i have to CTRL-ALT-delete and processes and end process ect.like when i try to open firefox sometimes it says its bust or something like that.' - Sounds to me like alot of your programmes are crashing, especially if you have to end there processes in task manager. When you say firefox says it's bust, are you sure it's not telling you that last time it was used it didn't close correctly and you can restore from where you were or start with a new browser?

'-its just overall being slow and retarded.' - Your best bet would to be format, you probably have alot of junk on your pc, (spyware, viruses etc.) If you don't know how to format I'd reccomend that you download a free antivirus program and scan the whole of your computer. AVG is a free anti virus and it's pretty decent. You can download it from here - http://free.grisoft.com/.


'-sometimes rs wont load. (a red X in the corner.)' - This is usually a Java problem and it occurs when a browser hasn't been shut down correctly. A simple restart of your computer should sort this problem out.

If its being slow and retarted you need to of course as said above, run some virus scans and defrag your harddrive. If all else fails can you tell us your computer specs of your pc? you might want to consider an upgrade.

 

Id consider a whole new computer.
