Lets fight real world trading.

Just an idea. Couldn't we put a few mill on level 3 accounts now, and then later, just trade level 3 accounts with money on them for higher accounts? It would be like a new kind of currency. Or something.

 

We could. But then eventually there won't be any lvl 3 accounts with money on them .

 

I was thinking of something similar before, but the idea is pretty lame TBH. Need some other alternitave.

No, GP for accounts. But I suppose if you put like 20m on a level 3 account now, you could sell it to someone who wanted to buy money to make a pure account.

 

Anyone found a loop-hole to the trading yet? My friend was considering taking say dragon chains into the bounty hunter then letting the buyer kill you. I mean, it's the best think I've heard of so far? Any other suggestions?

 

too much work... we could stake it in duel arena, or kill a player in wildy and they drop the money, or even find a mass amount of somthing worthless and use for currency

 

Eh, Yeah. Good point, but this will definitely cause the economy to collapse.

 

Real world trading won't die. Accounts with gp can still be sold. It's just going to be more risky, but you can buy accounts from trusted people.

I'm sure people will find a way to trade but they will surely have to go to extreme measures to make it happen

 

Uhh pen, yes accounts with gp can be sold. But whats the point in that? The accounts will be recovered and the gp can not be transferred. If we plan ahead and pack rares onto mules we could sell them, but again not many people would find many uses for a level 3 with rares on it.

 

IMO, were fucked. All of the black market is fucked.

Accounts made after dec 10th can not RWT anymore so yeah. Personally, I have an idea for a new business on Runescape. At the moment I can't give details, but I have something planned. Transferring GP in the traditional sense is gone when they update in January.
