    Why cant i play downladed files?
    When EVER I download a movie...EVER i ALWAYS get this when i TRY to play it.

    Why cant i play downladed files?
    it seems your trying to plat a file type that windows media player dosent support. What file type is it like .mp3 ext

    Why cant i play downladed files?
    assuming you are downloading illegal pirated movies...

    You will either need the Dvix or Xvid codec... if its .avi and you downloaded it illegaly than google "Download Dvix Codec" or "Download Xvid codec" i would download both to be same...

    download VLC player. It plays all sorts of files.

    Whether it's illegal or not doesn't matter, many files use the DivX encoders for their movies.
