Renting a max main - is it worth it?

I'm looking for a source of steady, low risk and low input way to make steady GP.

Is purchasing a max main from someone trusted like @video worth it over time? I just want some opinions and advice. I plan on buying 1 account in the first instance just to rent out and not to use.

 

Not experienced with the subject first hand. But whenever I think about max main renters I think: isnt it VERY easy to ban those accounts for RWT? Like every time you rent the main out a new IP logs onto it and puts GP on it.

 

Yeah, I did think that... But on the flip side, I see people charge between 2-4M for 30 minutes usage.

 

The going rate is about 2m/hr with a deposit for the whip. If you buy videos main you will have to rent for like 150 hrs to break even

 

so are u asking if u should buy video's main or rent a main to stake on, whether or not each is viable or what is better cause u wanna make money?

 

No, Video was an example. What I meant was is it worth buying a max main fom a reputable seller for the higher cost (for account safety) - is the market strong enough to cover it's own cost.

 

3M/hr for 7hrs a day can be done with the right marketing so yeah you'd make the money back after two weeks. Problem is you're not a donator, you don't have 100+ vouches, and you have a TWC so business will be hard to come by

 

the TWC won't be a problem soon - I guess i'd just have to start slow and work my way up with regular custom.

 

With a lot of trust possibly? But theres a lot of bans for people who rent out their mains. For RWT.

 

I don't recommend this at all. There are a lot of ways the account can get banned and then you are just out the entire investment

 

How do you prevent your account from being banned though?

 

Don't do anything against the rules on it. Including but not limited to renting it.

Also, people are making fraudulent jcoin purchases while renting, so be careful. There was a thread about it.

 

I can see plenty of people make a thriving business from it so any profit is profit
