Is it possible to play legit on one account and bot on an other account without getting both banned at the same time? In other words, is there a chance that my legit account will receive a punishment aswell when my bot gets banned? Thanks!
depends if ur ips are the same.. if not then you shouldn't really worry I hope so but I mean if ur straight up asking this: if I go kq on 2 accs while one is a bot, will I be banned? u will be def flagged if it is on one shared ip. but if ur asking: I go kq on 2 accs, one is a bot on a vpn that is a completely different story.
Same computer, same ip. The legit account I really don't wanna get banned but I like to bot aswell. So, it's best to use a VPN for the bot?
yeah unless u can twink the settings for a proxy like tribot does, not too sure if it can function alike vpn (ie: client uses proxy while u stay on ur home ip)

no, a vpn is its own 'seperate' computer like state, meaning u can do whatever u want on it and not fear being 'found out' by jagex. Basically, jagex will think of the vpn botter as some random #. U can run the vpn while playing legitimately and not worry about anything unless u start coming into contact w the bot and arouse suspicious activity. just seen ur edit and no, jagex finding out ur mac address is asking if jagex can detect the bot client, some consipiracy theory and like asking someone, can this 'psn' user find out my ps3 mac address if I join a cod party w him?
almost next to impossible as long as the two accounts doesnt interact. but it's still a small possibility for your legit account to get banned.
As long as you don't bot on your main I think you're fine, don't know about account flagging concept.
