Why is murder wrong?

Cause the society wouldnt work if it was'nt. Simple.

 

Because you are violating the other person's unalienable rights which include the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. By killing someone, you are violating the first one, which takes care of the other two as well.

How are you born with these rights exactly? Sounds to me like these "rights" are nothing more than constructs ideal to a popular philosophy. And morals of an individual's discernment aren't really morals at all in the general sense, which is absoluteness.

Humans make it wrong..it is socially unacceptable, it's a commandment, you're snuffing out anothyer beings life..which is just wrong ^^

 

well first of all, It's one of the ten commandments.
and it is basically stealing someone's life,
it's not our place to judge whether someone has the right live.

 

I think murder is okay in the following situations;fighting for your contry for a good reason, self defence, death penalty, killing a rapist, wife beater, kid beater, petafile, and a murder is fine in my opinion.
But the muslims just sicken me with their ideas.

It's the nature of God that makes morality out of the ten commandments.
But if you were to ask 'why does God define it as wrong', nobody will know. I doubt they're inherently wrong, merely defined by God.

 

It's wrong because, You kill somebody and killing is an Mortal Sin.

 

I'd say 90% of anything we do is sinful somehow.

Because nobody wants to die thats why its wrong..its taking away of some 1's life, but if all some one is doing in life is just making other peoples life miserable he deserves to die.

Murder is wrong on some levels...say some 1 killed your mom while she was cooking in the kitchen for NO REASON!...thats WRONG

 

simply saying that killing someone for no reason is wrong, does not justify why it is indeed wrong.

 

That means that morality does not exist, and is only defined by the will of God.

Also, the will of God is unknowable.

 

Why is it no place of ours?

 

No, it exists expressly because God defined it. It is in that sense that you could perhaps say it is inherent.

And the will of a Personal God certainly is knowable.
