I wouldn't call miners the most honest of parties. We shall see.

I'm in agreeance. I wouldn't be that surprised if some miners formed a plan to force a situation where a chain split could still be in the conversation. However, I'd need to some evidence first.

Jihan is power hungry, so this type of antic doesn't surprise me lol.

McAfee has to be on drugs again lmao. "500K BTC in 3 years or I'll eat my dick on TV".

I always enjoy seeing "big" name individuals getting more involved in mainstreaming a crypto.

Rothschilds invested $210K into BTC yesterday, so that can only mean more big names will follow. Big names buying our bags at a premium is so satisfying.

I think you're confusing BCC (Bitconnect) which I believe is a ponzi scheme to BCC (Bitcoin Cash). Not sure why they picked identical symbols though.

Regarding "Bitcoin Cash", ViaBTC and Bitcoin ABC - blog.bitmain.com

    Hashrate Distribution

BTC.com and Antpool alone have 30% hashrate. Bitcoin.com is run by Roger Ver for another 2%. BTC.TOP is a pool that came out of nowhere about a year ago, and has similar views to Jihan about blocksizes although they insist that they have no relationship with Jihan (which I highly doubt since I suspect most of their miners are supplied by Bitmain). They currently have around 15%.

ViaBTC plans to launch Bitcoin alternative, ‘Bitcoin cash,’ on August 1st » Brave New Coin

"Three other exchanges are planning to join ViaBTC in trading the cryptocurrency after the split; OKCoin’s OKEX, Huobi, and one of the world’s three largest Bitcoin exchanges by volume, South Korea’s Bithumb."

The support from these exchanges is absolutely huge as it will give Bitcoin Cash instant access to enormous amounts of liquidity. Interesting to watch this unfold.
