Well, my question is, if you play Habbo, do you pay for membership? If so, then I have a point, but like everyone knows you need to PAY real money for items in the game. Given this fact, why is it not illegal to hack/steal items and accounts from people on other games, such as RuneScape, stealing an item that is members is technically stealing your money that you payed for membership. What if you were rich in WoW? Someone hacks your account (not sure how WoW works) but if you pay for membership on that game (sorry I dont know) plus paying for the actual game itself is that not, in reality, illegal? Look at what I say, I could bring up some legal terms and get rich from suing

I remember watching the story on the news in 05, the perpetrator got a life sentence if i can remember correctly.. i think he was like 40 or something and the victim was in his 20's... musn't know the difference between virtuality and "reality" i say.

 

Well.. It's hacking, and they had their website for stealing passwords etc so it was pretty organized.
Indeed they should get arrested.
