When is the actual "right time" to quit Runescape?

When you're bored?
When you're 18+?
When you actually want a life? (No offence, half-joke, etc).
When you get perm banned/muted?
When you finally realize you've ditched your real life friends, to sit on your ass, playing an online game. (Not saying all you do this who actually play).
Examples. ^

I've left Runescape, about three times now, because of boredom, yes, I gave away everything, though I thought I wouldn't come back, but still have all the time...I'm just curious on your thoughts when you think you should just quit Runescape.

Tbh, I don't even know when I'll actually quit Runescape for good.

Anyways, discuss.

I'm Only 15 myself, and fuck I plan to get lost before im 16, computes have taken over my life and i've lost mates because of it. Luckily I dont't play it much anymore and I have a life. I still think 20-40 year olds should NOT be playing a kids game, its allright on the forums coz you just chat and shit but playing a kids game?, omg get outside!

 

When you realise you have no life -.- the rite time to quit is when your 20 or so.

Well, I have loads of Runescape friends who are in their 40's.
I myself am a 17 years old.
I still play, it's too fuckin' addicting.

 

I am addicted to counter strike, battlefield 2, etc.

But an internet game that 5 year olds play maybe about 4 years ago, not anymore

 

Quit if you feel like it.
Everyone does what they want with their life, dont think at the "models for life" that the society gives.
Do what you enjoy the most, but you should not let what you do affect your health, psyche too much.
You dont need to quit totally either. If you feel like you are using computer too much, try to example get a hobby and hang with friends example 2 times or more per week.

 

I am out at sports 4 nights a week.

rugby, shooting, squash and cricket. I dont live 24/7 in my house

When You realize that you will never become the best, richest, etc..

Well, I'm 15 and I quit a few months ago, I have tried to quit before, but I have always come back, but now I don't even feel like I want to play RS.
I only had about 3mil and didn't know what to do in RS, so I decided to buy yew longs and alch them. I got so pissed of because nobody was selling nats or yew longs and I realized that it was a stupid game. Did a small drop party the next day and haven't played since then.

 

When you ditch your girl friend. When you would get a blo job but instead you sit on RS. Around about then. I would go hunting any time over RS.

 

Are you speaking from experience?

 

Meh.. I will quit when I get bored of it.

Like you I've quit a few times and came back after giving all my stuff away.

I will quit when I KNOW for a fact that I won't be coming back.

 

When you relise that runescape isn't going to get you anywhere in life [ unless you can make 50+m / hour.
When you think about it it isn't your life thats getting better. It's your characters.
The only R.L benefit i find is time management skills.

 

It's getting boring..... None of my friends are on anymore.... I'm poor in RS now and i don't want to risk getting banned for RWT.... i think it's time to take a break......

 

Whenever it gets boring.. I go on and off depending on my mood. Sometimes its nice to just play rs for an hour or so.
