Sythe RSPS [Need developers]

If you dont know Sythe.org will be launching its own RSPS later this year. I am leading the development team and we're currently in beta. We're looking for 1-2 more developers to join the team. It is a non-profit community project so don't expect any payment.

Successful candidates will be added to the Technical Core team here on Sythe.

I don't want any recognition or anything but if you don't mind adding me to potential list I would love to work on bug fixes or anything with you guys. My Java skills are minimal because all of my dev work has been in php/web development but I really want to expand my horizons.

I can give collateral if you are worried about leaking code if necessary, I just want to learn more. I'm a graduating computer science student and currently work in the healthcare IT field so this is not just a hobby for me and is something I take very serious. I am willing to work on the problems that nobody else has time for given the one circumstance that I do have time in my schedule because it's coming to finals and graduation for me.

 

I do understand its a non-profit but there is one issue with Sythe RSPS. People will donate for items but developers will not be paid. At least try and offer them a split of donations. There is no incentive for developers to join Sythe RSPS.

 

Dumbest thing ive ever seen. How are we supposed to RwT in Sythe RSPS Category if Sythe is launching its own rsps and i doubt u accept rwting? =D

I am addicted to messing with clients and making them look good, As well as being well versed in the Vencillio client (and being close friends with devs that have worked on the original server) I've been looking for an rsps project to join after leaving the scene a few months ago, i have worked on a few servers including: Bug fixes that have been implemented to servers like DreamScape, OS-Legacy bases, co-developing the remake of the old BattleScape earlier this year, The only coder for servers like Ophion, Voltage-X, A Skills and content Developer for RSPS-PK a while back, other servers i've coded aren't really relevant but i have lots of experience in and around rsps.

Definitely interested if you need beta/bug testers. I have had many years experience being mod/admin on multiple servers, have co-owned a couple and have always loved finding bugs!
I also know minimal java but definitely prefer being the one to find the bugs as I have experience and know what to look for

It's been put on hold until we do the duel toruney. But i am certain we can get it done by the end of this year.
