teamviewer is same as this, and u can play on lots of clients not just one. Probs wont be useful to many yo

 

Phone providers are offering unlimited data at a really cheap cost these days.

Your IP changes regularly when you're connecting with a mobile device. The prevention of chain bans would be one benefit of a mobile bot client.

 

it can go well with osrs definitely, for skilling and such. not so sure about eoc tho..

 

I think it will be a great addition to the game more players and might improve the economy at the least.

 

I think the idea is the app will be smoother and more versatile.

I don't think he was talking about data I think he meant that new scripts etc would need to be made for mobile devices. That IP info is interesting though.

Can imagine it would be better played on say an iPad with a better screen. I might utilise it that way

 

This also is a great opportunity for gold sellers as they won't need to be grounded to their pc with the availability of mobile live chat connections and the Skype app.

Do you guys expect to use this often while you're on the go? I don't think this update will attract many new users.

Honestly I'm really happy about this, I believe it will make unescape grow! Also, I'll be able to play when I'm out and about. Can't wait!

 

I'm not often out the house unless I'm doing something that doesn't have time to be on a phone, so I probably won't be. Also, I'm pretty certain the app will be in the top 5 when its released which will create a lot of hype around it. Sure it might not bring in something crazy like double the player base but I think a permanent 5-10% increase in player base is definitely viable.

Just my thoughts.

 

It'll definitely attract many mobile users- and will be at the top 10 apps for sure. I think about 5-10k players will join (new players) if not less.

 

First month or so there will be a lot of new players who never played it and that is good, but later they will quit it because its grindy game and not everyone likes it. So later this is going to be usefull for skillers mainly.

Its just my opinion.

 

Finally I can play Rs without having to use teamviewer when im out the house

i'm really excited to try this out and hopefully it will be great
