Any upcoming MMO's? Or any that are still alive?

Ashes of Creation seems incredibly promising. It's just on kick starter atm, but I believe an open beta is on it's way in 2018.

Black Desert Online. It's pretty time consuming and in-depth, haven't played a lot of it.

 

Ark Survival, its a game you can purchase on steam, it's a one time charge and you don't have to pay a subscription for it.

 

This man Ty better play Ashes of Creation with me when it comes out

 

As soon as I see a kickstarter project, I lose all hope for it.

 

Personally, I love how World of Warcraft looks. I know it's a very old game, but it's still super fun to play when you're bored, and looking to get back into a MMO. Definitely worth giving the new expansion a shot (well it's been out for a year, or so, but you know what I mean). Also SytheScape is coming out later down the year, so I'll most likely be giving that server a try as well.

Honestly, most MMOs die out under WoW's foot, because people try new MMOs and realize, even though they hate on WoW, it is the one game they can return to and jump right in and have fun. That said, Aion is fairly active still, and I believe it's even F2P now.

 

i tried black desert, got like 10 minutes into it and got bored sadly lmao, been meaning to try guild wars

 

In all honesty, I actually misread it for LoL not WoW because I probably didn't have my glasses on and my vision isn't the best, so I'm sorry for that, and sorry @TySimpson for misreading it, but I'm definitely not trying to be a "post whore", but you're allowed to have that perspective you want on me.

I tried SMITE in the past, and it's fun as fuck, especially if you have friends to play with. Definitely a great game to get into, and it's free, so definitely worth giving a try sometime.

 

Black Desert seems over hyped in my opinion. I'll be trying it out myself later though.
