I'm interested in learning Java

But why should I?

What can I make from it, what can I do with Java?

You can do many things with java. FIrst i want to ask you if you have googled it. If you havent please do so i do not have to write a long long long list

 

You can make Java applications which are pretty powerful or Java applets which can be embedded into html for games you can play on websties and stuff.

 

If you're going to do it only for a game, then give up right now. Learn real Java just for the experience like I have.

 

look at your cell phone ... almost all of its software is done in a java-type language
look at any web applets/applications, they all use java
you can also make games/other shit if you're into that
but java isnt a very hard language to learn, and its definitely useful if you're going to go into computers later

i think java is the best language because its not too easy like vb and stuff but its not too hard like C.

ALOT of programs are made in Java and its going to be one of the most popular programming languages soon if not already

so learn in now because if you're going into the programming field you'll need to know it sometime.

Java is becoming a largely popular programming language. Look at Firefox , it's core is written in java.
