Opinions on a new style?

Pretty new to sythe, so go easy on me, haha.
This is a my adaptation of a style i learned from Tutvid, hoping to develop it into my own style, any thoughts?

What sort of stuff do you have in mind for the logo? i couldn't think of anything which would look too good.

 

why is it so choppy and the font is bad

 

Maybe a pattern overlay , resize and a transparent backgroud, then show it here

Not sure if it would look good, but what if the letters are 3d?

 

That is amazing dude if it had a different letter I'd make it my wallpaper

 

The text is too simple while the surrounding effect is too loud. Try to find a balance between the two.

 

I actually like that kind of design.
Simple in the background but looks complex at the same time.

 

I don't like the font in the 2nd one but looks not bad asides from that.

 

The first image looks great, I like the smoke design. Simplistic and creative with logo.

Second is unrefined and a bit rough looking. Too much going on for the smoke.

 

i prefer the first one as i find the design flows better and more eye pleasing
