    Of course it may be true, the pentium g4560 has been wiping out literally any i3 sales because of how good it is for its performance. This card is literally as good as the i5-2500k, and much much cheaper.

    Then again, Ryzen 3 will probably kill intels i3 and pentium lines when it comes out.

    From Intel's point it is completely necessary, it was a very good CPU at an extremely cheap price.
