The REAL Conman Story...

Ok, I'm tired of these "Let's help Conman!" or "Wtf why is Conman Baneed?" threads, so yeah, ill take the time to write the COMPLETE story on what happened between me and him. Why he got banned, and when he got hacked. So ok, here we go:

1- I decided to buy some mills, and I saw Conman's thread. So I went saying "Yay, an official MM! Someone I can finally trust to buy some geepeez!". So I contacted Conman, told him about paying through mail, he aggred and told me he had the money and will contact me as soon as he gets my mail.

2- I asked him a week later if he had my money, he neer responded to me, so I posted on his thread, then he responded and said No he didint, so I kept asking him for 3 more days everyday (but just once every day).

3- He got pissed off and started to insult me and say that I am immature and that I can trust him, he has made trades over 200M, yes 200M, I don't know if anyone can verify it, but I have the chat log.

4- I said to myself "Ok, I'm overreacting, Ill just chill down and ask him again next week..."

5- I ask him next week, then he tells me that he has recieved my money (if you want proof, he posted on my thread about him scamming me that he has got it). And he tells me that he just got hacked and lost over 4000$ of RS geepee in real life. Wow, quite a coincidence eih?

6- So I accuse him of scamming me, then he just blocks me and says that I'm a selfish guy. He means that I should say sorry to him and just fuck off? Sorry, just I think that was my money.

7- I post my thread about him scamming me ( the first one, because I have posted 2 of them). Some high ranked people here tell me that I should wait for one more week for Conman to repay me, and Conman just flamed me on my thread and unblocked me.

8- I ask him a week later (notice it's been almost 3 weeks). He tells me that he has my money and I should ASK HIM TOMOROW for it. Notice the stupid reply? ASK HIM TOMOROW, why not now? I don't know, I ask him but he just never replied me.

9- I ask him the next day at 6PM (East Canadian time... Like the New York one and Montreal one), his status is busy and he never replies to me. I ask him at 6, but he never replied, so I keep asking at 6:30, 7, 7:30, 7:45, then at 8 something, he replies and tells me that he just got hacked and lost 500M! Wow, coincidence eih? What a fucking coincidence!

10- Then he tells me that he is quitting RS and Sythe because of that, so I flamed him and accused him of scamming me. He just tells me to stfu and that I'm retarded and he just blocks me.

11- I make my second thread in the Report a Scammer section (you can check it out, too lazy to look at whats written, I think it's on Page 2 or 3, it's locked).

12- My thread gets locked, Conman get's banned, I got scammed, no one is happy.

Alright, so that's basically it. I know Conman was a very very respected member on Sythe, I respected him, but on another hand, he had quite a shitty attitude, probably because he knew he would never pay me and he kept telling me to Shut the Fuck up. I don't really know if he talks like that with people he knows, but he didin't respect me at all.

So if anyone wants to help Conman, sorry to say this, but he is still banned for SCAMMING, and I doubt he will ever come back on Sythe. But he needs to pay me back.

I know that everyone will think i'm selfish, but why don't you swap places with me. I paid 70$ for my mills, and I don't think anyone wants to lose 70$ just like that.

So anyways, good luck if you guys ever get him back, but I sincerely doubt it...

It doesn't look good for Conman, tbh. I know he wouldn't purposely scam someone, but this is just one major screwup all in all.

 

Maybe he got hacked and took the money because he felt sorry for himself.
Not saying that is good. It's just a theory.

 

I know Conman has a great rep around here and all but I see tons of people accusing him of scamming and their accusations just get written off because they are new/untrusted. I've also had two quite good friends tell me they were scammed by him so although I respect the reputation he's built up and what you all think of him he's someone I'm not willing to trust. Good luck recovering OffensiveStyle, I lost the last 10m I had last week.

 

Kinda funny how the day before he had a buying all mills thread then magically the next day says he wants to quit rs n sythe cause he got hacked? cmon his name is CONMAN for a reason

 

I actually agree with you, Conman should have not done what he did. I don't know exactly what's happening.

 

I do not think Conman is responsible enough to have a GP shop. That's the bottom line. First of all, getting hacked is pretty foolish on his part. Secondly, any good seller should have a backup in case of bans / hacks / whatever. If you guys wanna help him get unbanned, go for it, but if he does come back, his GP shop needs to go.

 

And his middleman rank.

 

i think if he comes back you should ban him from the market and black market that way he wont scam and he would be on here for the forums and gfx and all that. but before he comes back he should have to pay him back. once a scammer always a scammer.

Well yes what he did was wrong but wth, he just losed 4000$ worth of gold! You would be pretty pissed off to.

 

Why do you people even bother.

If someone gets "hacked" and then scams, that makes them stupid.

And we don't need stupid people here at sythe, to represent us as a community and to keep trading safe, because stupid people mess up.

He was obviously here to middleman, to make money, and if you people let him get away with doing what he did, with nothing but a slap on the wrist, then hes not the only retard here.

If you idiots pay for his return, he is just going to scam again. And if he really did care about coming back, and was going to be legit, he would earn the money back himself and regain his previous reputation.

People do make mistakes, I understand. But ask yourself this question.

How is he going to learn from his mistakes if you just pay for him to come back?
