    Traditions in England

    Well in English class we have an assignment and I'm going to write about traditions in England.

    So if anyone from England could tell me what traditions that could be worth mentioning that would be great. :)

    Well, I'm English, if you wish to ask me anything specifically, PM me, and I'll give you my private MSN. (My public is locked.)

    And to Sarah, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in England.

    Finally, I'd suggest people give up with the whole 'tea' stereotype. Yes, people are generally partial to a cup of tea or coffee, however, it is not consumed in such vast quantities as the stereotype would suggest.

    Yeh, i agree with finn. Everytime an american tries to insult me they bring up the tea subject, and about our accent, its really not insulting and it just makes you look idiotic.

    Its like me calling the whole of America fat, when they quite clearly arnt. But anyway....

    =========================================================

    Uhh if you get to choose what to do your essay on i wouldn't choose traditions, but something like 'Things the English are associated with', it would be easier and you have a lot more to say.
