Why are my specs ALWAYS horrible?

I'm really trying to find out why my specs with dds are so horrible.

Ok, i've been a member forever now, and I don't pk often.

But, when I do i always get horrible specs when i try and spec someone.

Same thing happens at the duel arena and etc.

I never hit any 20's.

A few examples:
0-7
14-15
0-10
13-6
12-15

Potted:
17-16
19-18
0-4
7-8
14-6

well im not sure a 19-18 is pretty good with pot how bout prayer u could get that 20-20+ u wanted..

 

my lvl 88 main with 76 hits 21-21 with prayer.

 

my 87 main hits 25-25 with pray and pot

 

my 69 always hit 22-18 first spec, then 15-18 next. Without prayer too, and only 78 str.

But now I have a g maul pure, and I'm getting really unlucky on that. I air wave them, that hit's 12. G maul 1st hit gets 23, then spec gets a 26, and last spec hits a 3. and the guy has 5hp left, and it's all luck.

This game is against pures, But you're not a pure so I don't know what ot tell you.

 

Well if the persons defence is very good then you wont likely hit a lot. But using prayer can make you hit high to.

 

I have found dds with poi dont hit good on specs try useing dds with no poi and tell me how it goes?

 

Its because your not pure,
When i pked on main i always hit 0s on pures, and they hit back with like a 27-27 or somethin like that >.>

yup pures work so much better and i always see mains hitting 0-0's with spec.

 

ohter people huge def. bonus and def. lol

 

Sucks i dunno, Maybe get a better strength bonus. Maybe your always fighting high def people..?

 

Try to verse low leveled defencers, Barrows pure, rune pures etc.. I always seem to beat them.. Just watch the 40-40 specials :x

 

Put on incredible str and ult. reflexes when you spec. it helps ALOT.Also get a high str bonus. like for you get torso,dragon boots or climbing boots or rune boots. Als check out the people on here that get firecapes and get one for the Str bonus.

 

get 60 pray and use chivalry it will raise ur atk bonus so ull hit more accuratly.

 

well a little bird told me that def also affests ur hits.. strangly it must, ill suggest that if u ddint have such nice def then maybe just maybe ud hit like 20-20 witch is pretty good with such nice attack

 

no dude, you can have 1 def and hit 20-20

 

Same happens to me, with whip i hit amazing..
and then i pull out my dds and it goes like 15-15- 18-6 +.+

 

I'm only 76 str and i can hit 32-32..

Super pot + piety with big strenght bonus.

 

You cant expect to hit same as the 99 99 1 pures on the vids you see.
1)They are lower lvl with higher attack and strenght -> they face opponents with lower defence then you.
2)They only include the best hits in the vids
3) 19-18 is pretty good for those stats.

 

maybe if you had 90 attack... do you also use an attack potion
