Creating a web browser in visual basic

Hello

I am trying to create a web browser in visual basic 2008, however i am having some problems. First of all, i would like to make it more secure if its possible. What I mean is id like to add a popup blocker and something that blocks downloads from automatically downloading. Any help will be appreciated.

 

this should be posted in the visual basic 2005 section because of the many similarities they share.
