Attempted Scam - all in PMS on Sythe

Explanation of the trade: Selling RS3 Account for skins or money, didnt trade but they wanted to go on Skype and i refused as i wanted to keep it on Sythe. Offered me CSGO skins for the account.

How they scammed: They didnt but they offered me items then gave me steam profile i am familiar with claiming it was them. The items they offered were not even in the inventory and then to further validate my concerns i asked them to add me on my steam profile ( i sent the request to the steam profile linked as any other way allows you to be duped by dupe accounts) and the user said i was added when in fact the player had been offiline for over 3 hours (further indicating this was not that persons account)

Conversation is all through PMs on this site, please let me know if you need screenshots for this.

How do i add you to the PM?

 

If you didn't start the conversation you simply can't add anyone unless the creator gave permission at the start of the conversation.

As you can see on the 2nd I created that convo, and the first I did not. Try reporting the conversation at the top right of the convo and someone should be able to help you, or you can simply screenshot the entire convo. Sorry for barging in here wanted to possibly help stop him from trying to scam someone else.

 

Can you simply add screenshots of the pms. No need to add anyone to the conversation just ss it. Thank you

So in short he claimed to be Midnight who is a popular skin collector, offering me items that didnt exist in the inventory then couldnt add me as a friend then couldnt send me a trade.

 

Looks like he just scammed someone else - Looking to trade 115 cb OSRS Main for RS3 main
