Screen Brightness

Why does everyone have there screen brightness on runescape set to very bright? I've bought a few account, they're on very bright and everyone who trains my account sets it to very bright.

I thought normal was bright enough, but some people think otherwise.

What brightness do you set your screen to and why?

 

I set mine on 3. It's not the brightest but its good enough to see. People like bright colors so they set max.

 

I reckon runescape looks best at the 2nd or 3rd option, but the 4th is way to bright.

I guess becaus i've been using normal brightness for so long, so when someone changes it just looks too bright when really i'm using something thats too dark lol

 

It mostly depends on the person's monitor. Newer monitors usually are bright and vibrant meaning normal will be sufficient, while older monitors are usually darker, dimmer, basically "wore out" in other words making it so very bright on an old monitor is equal to normal on a newer monitor.

my moniter is new, i guess i just like it.

 

some computers screens arn't too bright, this is why it presents it, I know for me, I have it set to brightness, because I'm awesome like that, lol.

I prefer the max setting too.

 

Yes I know when I got on my friends account his was so bright and Runescape looked more old. Mines is always on the second one.

 

Might be because my monitor is new then. But i know of lots of people with new monitors and set it to the max still, guess they like the brightness.

 

I have mine set to max brightness also. It just looks better to me.
