DNT Rank is currently a joke.

Support, I think DNT should be more actively trying to pay back their debts. Like give an ultimatum, for example: you got 1 month from the DNT to take real steps in paying back your victims. The "real steps" are to be defined.

 

Support this partially, I think there should be a distinction between people who have scammed and have no intention of paying back and people who are genuinely trying to repay debts or have already repaid.

 

Support, I've been saying this for a long time. This, along with the fact DNT users can trade perfectly fine until someone wants to complain are both a mess.

 

I think that distinction is those who still have their DNT and those who wouldn't. I support this idea. If you're going to create a punitive rank, then there should be steps and an ultimatum to getting out of it.

 

Well, some people pay back debts, or at least try, but still have to go through the pardon system to get DNT removed.

 

I imagine that depends on how severe their individual case is then.

 

Shouldn't this be common sense? Like why would you even want an user in the community that only causes harm and doesn't even try to better himself anyway

I'd support if you had to payback with interest to get rid of DNT.

People pay an opportunity cost when they've been scammed, not only of the money, but of whatever they were going to do with it in the first place.

Wtf is the point of DNT anyway? Why is it even a thing, I don't understand lol, why are these people even allowed back into the sythe community if they haven't repaid what they owe. (im aware that not everyone with a DNT is in debt, I am talking about the ones who ARE in debt).

 

DNT is the reason I fucked off from this place and reduced my activity tenfold. In the world of Sythe Monopoly, DNT is the get out of jail free card. The amount of cunts that populate this forum now is unbelievable.

 

Sorry going to disagree, we give out DNTs so people can come back into the community and see what they're missing out on.

The don't get their ranks, signatures, UT, PMs, nothing.
I don't think you understand how easy it is for people to ban evade. People just need to reset their router, change their skype/discord, and done.
At least if they have DNT we know where they are and we can keep an eye on them.

DNT is also used for the RaS section when we don't want to ban someone but keep them from trading.

 

I would Vouch for this. Why have lingerers that do nothing in the community other than harm it. It's nice to see that this dude is repaying his debts and trying to get his status removed. That to me makes sense.

 

I don't think anyone is against DNT being used instead of temporary bans in RaS, but i fail to see how DNT has any impact on ban evaders.

If someone wants to get into the market again to make money asap, why would you get a DNT and sit around for 6 months?

 

They can still ban evade while actively participating in the community under their DNT. You are not watching over the person, you are watching their original banned account post shit memes to clutter up the forum. It is very easy to ban evade while staying active on their original account by enabling and disabling a VPN or setting up proxies. Certain private networks provide the ability to pretend you are at a real location to avoid proxy detection.

 

I'm going to offer my support as well, there are other ways of bringing people into the community then letting back scammers/or people who have done something wrong because that's more than just scamming. Without having any attempt to pay back what they owe.
