Is it possible to get files back i deleted?

I had a very important document on microsoft word and my younger bro deleted it -.-

Is there anyway I can get it back?

If you had Mac OS Leopard you could go back using Time Machine and get any file(s) you may have deleted.

Wrong, it is possible to recover deleted files using an undeleting program. http://www.officerecovery.com/freeundelete/ That one should work fine.

but anyways i think you can buy it back or if you dont wanna do that use system backup or something (might work)

No sorry, Apple only has it in Mac OS Leopard and you need another hard drive to store it in. I do not have but I know my friend has it and he loves it.

 

But he has a Mac .

So he automatically fails.

ok, i went to the site and downloaded it and after download was done i clicked open. It didnt open so i went to where i saved it to to open it, and it didnt work. can u help?
