Question about PlayerAuctions

Hi ,guys so yesterday I recieved a message from PlayerAuctions that my account was locked. When I asked them what the hell happened ,they said that I failed many phone verification attempts (even tough I didn't fail once). And they started to ask very personal info of me like this : A digital copy or photo of your government-issued ID such as your driver’s license or passport. Make sure that the photo is clear and not cropped.
2) If your government-issued ID does not state your address, kindly provide a copy of your billing statement. It shouldn’t be folded and we need to see the whole page. You can send a PDF copy of your billing statement if you are using the paperless option.
3) A photo of yourself holding your ID. Please do not cover your face and the ID should be clear enough to read. WTFFFFF ?????? A PHOTO OF YOURSELF HOLDING YOUR ID. I DONT GET IT. Many people have gone scammed on this site and they need my personal info ??? Sites like paypal doesn't do this shit ... I just wanted to buy fucking overwatch account and you come up with this bs. Does everyone get this message before they buy on PA ?

 

I've read reviews in the past and many users have been asked for such documentation, i sold a couple of accounts on there before and had no issue it seems to be with the bigger trades. I wouldn't bother with PlayerAuctions personally their "warranty" means nothing as they never fill their obligations regarding the warranty and just say "we will help you recover the account" it also takes a week to get paid overall a bad experience.

 

When you use larger items you do get asked to verify that way. I bought 500M OSRS and had to do all of that and a phone call as well.

 

You should really stay away from PA. From past experience, it has been really stressful and not worth the hassle.

As previously said, the warranty means fuck all. Bought two RS accounts and both got recovered. Didn't receive any refunds as apparently did not have enough proof. The proof itself would have gotten users banned on this site from the reports I have seen.
