Coming back to RS - Initiate Pure/Main help

Hey, everyone! I've been away from Runescape for a number of years, but, because of some friends returning to the game, I am too!

Though I did have an account on OSRS from many years back, I didn't feel attached to my old character and decided to start a new one.
With this account the goal is to experience every aspect of Runescape possible while staying a 20 defense Initiate Pure!

My goals before I start pking are 70 atk, 80 str, 70 range and 52 prayer (I'd love to get Vengeance before I start, but I know I'll be impatient and start before then).
While focused on pking, I also interested in making money and doing generally enjoyable things.

I'm really looking for advice regarding money making, building an initiate pure, and just generally hearing what people find to be the most enjoyable activity on OSRS.

Get Addy Gloves and I don't think you can get Veng?

 

I actually haven't looked at the requirements to get Veng, so this would be welcome/saddening news.

Is there any reason to raise Magic, then?

 

I suggest making it a zerker man. Initiate purrs are kind of garbage and zerkers are OP.

 

While, at some point in the future, this account probably will become a Zerker, I love Initiate Pures so for the time being he is going to stay at 20 defense.

Though, if you have any advice for the transition from 20 defense to 45 (what I need to get/do etc) I would be more than happy to hear it!

 

For ancients, especially if you want to own noobs in deep wilderness. When you get tribrding down, it's loads of fun.

EDIT: Initiaite pures are not garbage either. I crap on mains and zerks all the time. Also, in my experience people with zerks just depend on str so they can't do shit from a distance. And main bridding is too expensive and they usually cheap out anyways. There is an occasionally bad ass that will own you though, but it happens to everyone.

Helm: Initiate/mith helm (mith is the lightest armor in the game)
Body: Initiate/mithril/studded body
Legs: Dragonhide/Initiate/Mithril platelegs/chaps
Boots: Climbing/mith boots
Cape: Ava's/Firecape/Godcape
Sheild: Mith defender/kitesheild
Amy: Fury/glory

...and you can wear mystic and Addy Gloves too! SOOOO BEAST!

I would be interested in how I would transition from an Initiate pure to a Zerker (as I do plan to change EVENTUALLY)

EDIT: Any I've been killed by more 1 def g maul rushers with ancients than I have zerks. And every zerk is cheap ask fuck so they hardly have claws anyway. I live in the wild, son. Step up or shut your pirate yap.

EDIT2:

Transitioning from an Initiate to a zerk would not only be irreverable, but the worst mistake of your life. No one wants to clan up with zerks, just saying.

 

I don't plan on doing it for a long time As I said this is also my main account, so at some point, in a few months or half a year, when I get bored of pking I might transition it into a main, stopping at 45 defense for a while to try out zerker.
