Why DON'T you play regular DMM?

And what would need to change for you to consider playing (bare in mind the game has changed a lot since it's initial release)

 

Because its shit asfuck dont like grinding and then dying to a team and lose all my shit/xp lol and the game is litteraly dead like 100players online or less lol

 

You get 5x xp and when you die you get 50x xp until you reach the level you previously hit! As for the stuff most people have have 'alt' accounts which hold their stuff.

Funny thing is, because there is no GE people setup their alts at varrock east buying/selling using autochat while they play on their main...so the 100 or so players online is actually a lot less since most people multi-login!


It's a very hard game and maybe you're not good enough to survive it

Also if you start now you'd get destroyed by some 126 hybridding with toxic staff of the dead and acb and shit...

You just killed the game-mode for me. So if I do get a PK, it is valueless, because it's highly likely anything worth a damn is on their alt. LOL.

 

Mules are almost needed these days, no one wants to die and lose there entire bank when they can just keep it on an alt and only lose what they are using!

 

Which is fucking gay. That isn't the spirit of DMM. That makes it a low-risk, pointless game-mode, again, I say, ruined game-mode.

Don't enjoy losing progress upon death even though that's an essential mechanic of the mode. Not my type of game.

 

I understand alts ruin the spirit of the game however without them the game would be unplayable, it's annoying having to pay for two memberships...Jagex may as well remove the 10 most valuable items lost from the bank. You can still get good loot from pking without losing items from the bank just like regular pking in 07. I think more people would play if you didn't lose your bank.

 

Dont want to level up just to be killed by a lvl 126 in ahrims, toxic staff, ags etc etc etc.

 

That's why I really enjoy SDMM, alot more balanced now than the regular DMM server.

Yeah everyone else has such a big advantage that it's near impossible to catch up

 

If i play a game, i wanna keep my progress, not lose it.

 

What I think would be nice is if they give your normal OldSchool account a lamp to claim like 5% of the xp in your DMMS/DMMT game (similar to when DarkScape closed.)

Would make a lot of people want to play the tourneys and seasonals because you'd get a bit of your progress on your main as well as having a good time on the season.

 

I don't play deadman mode anymore but when I use to it would mainly be for showoff purposes
