Surfing, anyone do it?

I personal haven't opened steam in well over a month, but I use to really enjoy a good surf (sometimes the odd bhop)

Thought I was pretty crap at it, but checked the other day and saw I was rank 1000/70k or so on Mestro UK surfing server. So I might get back into it.

But just seeing if there's any others out there

 

It's been a few years since i last surfed a lot. It's a good thing to chill out with before or after playing some Matches. I mostly play Pubg at this moment.
I played mostly on surfburken servers.

 

Soooo chill, still got a good 5 hour long playlist for surfing. I could surf for unhealthy lengths of time aha.

But Pubg is something I need to look into

 

Nah, KZ. Surfing doesn't help movement ingame the same way KZ does.

 

Ahh yer I understand that @Karoshi . my movement did improve but definitely not as much compared to if I played KZ.

I just really did it for enjoyment, once you get to the level where you are able to complete most maps the first time you play them it becomes something you can do consistently that just chills you out.

 

I love surfing. I was never very good at it but it is very relaxing. Even if you are not very good at it you can still find joy in it.

 

I use to surf heaps over 1,000 hours in CS:S.

I was nasty on horizon servers for a while before being banned due to their extremely tight ass staff. But I was top 2% haven't really surfed 83 tick since.

 

i remember in 1.6 we had a hide-seek roof top servers were so fun and improve your movment in the same time with it

 

I remember surfing years ago, was a lot of fun. Not sure if it's popular anymore though

 

Surfing is great to relax and warm up the hands before I play competitive.

 

Yeah, I used to surf ALOT just to improve my movement, I have 47secs on Surf_beginner xD

I always found surfing fun but I could never get good at it. I could do most of the lower tier surf maps though. I like bhop and kz maps a lot more.

Yes, however I don't do it as much as I used to since it gets really repetitive and boring at times. I'd much rather enjoy the leveling and match aspect of the game but that's just my opinion
