Plays 07...can't pk.

Is there any hope for me to learn how to pk? I have tried main pking and that didn't work. Made a zerker and I quit it. What is the easiest account build to start pking, and that could later be changed to a higher tier one?

Most fun and easiest to learn the basics of pking with, as you don't need to risk much.

 

Just pk and pk and you'll get the hang of it. Maybe practice on private servers.

The easiest I think is a void ranger.

 

Just takes practice and timing especially when to eat as you don't want to get combo'd out. You could try looking for a pking clan that just accept anyone

As for account I would agree with both of the above as they can hit quite hard for whatever combat level

 

In all honesty start a f2p pure low level and go pking once you mastered low level work your way up through the levels, Once you have mastered f2p slowly try introduce p2p pking

Learn on private servers!!! Worked for me

 

Private servers or f2p pking.

f2p gets your ticks down when you want to 2h ko hit properly. Gmauler after that to get the hang of specs. Then it will be mainly about how well you switch which can be learned on a ps but better on main server.

Well not all Private Servers have the consistency with connection and switching as main server pking. Pretty obvious if you play both.

 

Watch how popular youtubers/streamers switch and practice from there

 

DDS specs are overpowered in OSRS Private Servers, aren't they? They were in 2speced at least.

 

I'm gonna take your word on that. Just another reason to practice more on main server. No doubt though to get the right feel for main server pking you gotta practice a good amount on main server. Don't expect all the hits/switching/movement to be the same in main server if you practice only on a private server. So I would agree yes the hits are different as well in some servers.

 

I would say get your setups from them and watch their switches but in the end it's muscle memory when switching and specing which is gonna require practice.

 

You should start off on a spawn pking server found on runelocus. Theyre good to learn on. After you're done make a main on osrs, not a pure because you need to be a good eater to tank the opponents hits.

 

Start as a member and quest to 40 attack, you could even get climbing boots and mithril gloves. Then you can go up in attack from there for Granite mauls or dragon weps. And then go on to a godsword, and then maybe an addy glove pure. Then an initiate pure, then a zerk, then a barrows pure and so. Each pure is a step or so from one another. Just stat at the beginning and by the time your journey is completed you'll know what build you prefer. I personally prefer f2p pking so i'm 40 def, but also a member to train better.
