What happened here?
I came to vote for the SOTW just cause I felt like being part of the voting being the public now.
I look for something even close to worth voting for.
What do I see?

I think to myself MY GOD WTF!
No offense but their bad. First horribly contrasted. Second is a collage put together poorly with no color coordination.
Then I scroll down and the first comment I read is.
"wow they really good this week . good luck to all

btw i was the guy who won week 11. ill send psd if needed."

I think to myself hey a new guy won I wonder how good he is.

Maybe the Life one reminds you of GTA cause its a picture of the GTA game cover with a render slapped on top and colored vomit on top.

Hey Duri. I knew he shouldn't have won, but what can you do? He got the votes. We are going to change the rules in the future to limit this. There were obviously better signatures than his. As far as this SOTW: Some are OK, but those of us that are good just don't have time, ATM, I think. I know I'm working, and with this after-Thanksgiving Blitz, I can't find the time to get on the PC, let alone sit for 10 hours and make a decent SOTW

Yea, that's the issue with public voting. Remember the first SOTW I held I had it staff votes only, with a point distribution system. It's cause I feel the staff has seen enough GFX to know what's good etc. The public will vote for who ever the hell links em to the thread first.

Maybe change the time limit to two weeks? I know it wouldn't technically be SOTW, more like SO2W'S, haha. Oh, and as for the ugly entry's, you can't prevent a person from expressing their GFX productions, HOWEVER, we can try and prevent horrid signatures from winning. From now on, in the voting, every person whom votes HAS to post an explanation of why they voted. NO, the explanation can't be " #2 cuz it lukz gud" it must be reasonable. Anyone whom fails to support their vote should get infracted?

 

reason y suck sigs win is because if i have to choose between garbage shit and vomit.

Hey, lol. I made my crappy vector style thing crappy on purpose. I usually will spend like 8=9 hours to get a good product, but this time I just took the typical hour, and submitted. I never liked giving my all in a SOTW. it's not fun that way.
