Connection Loss Help

Well there seems to be a problem. This started a few days ago. I don't know how but when I am online I got dsl and every time the phone rings or if someone calls from my house like my parents or brother calls someone I loose connection. I got the dsl box and always the middle light goes off then when the pone stops and no one uses it it turns back on. The middle light says brodband link and. I don't know what seems to be the problem but my internet dsl box connects to the phone line.

 

My guess is that one of your 'filter's' might be faulty or knocked out.

You should have a filter connected to every phone/fax in the house. Check if they are all working. They look something like this.

It is the most common cause of phone inteference, I could get technical but I'll simply say your phone and your broadband need a filter to work on different frequencies so no inteference is made.

This is why the mojority of people use Broadband internet. DSL internet can easily be interfered by a phone line.
