    Gargoyles task
    I just got Gargoyles as a slayer task and as you might now its recommended to use whip there. But If I want to train strenght there what weapon should I use? I can afford most weapons except bludgeon. I have a abyssal dagger in bank

    There 2 options,
    You can full tzhaar armour and use tz sword (don't know correct name) obby sword

    otherwise you can go with abby dagger, these two being the best ,

    Otherwise, it goes like this Bludgen > Dagger (Unsure between stod and Abyssal dagger there around the same) > Tz armor > Sara sword > dragon scim,

    I'm not sure of stats of gargoyles ,

    But alternatively , if you don't mind using prayer pots, the best item would be dh hands down for dps, but granted the hp on gargoyles could be low so it might not be worth,

    This is all off the top of my head btw

    Gargoyles task
    They are weak to crush, so I'd recommend high crush bonus weapons. Bludgeon, zamorakian hasta, hill giant club, there's a bunch of em. Anything with a high crush should be good though. I did them yesterday w/ hasta.

    Gargoyles task
    I ran a few DPS comparisons (abyssal dagger, SS, leaf-bladed axe, sotd) and it seems that using an abyssal dagger + dragon defender will give you the best DPS at gargoyles. A hasta will give you higher DPS than all of these options (even higher than a whip) but of course doesn't give you the option to train strength only.
