My grandparents came to stay with us for thanksgiving and while they were here they directed me to a website containing all of the ridiculous laws that were put in the books long ago and never repealed but are not inforced!

my personal favorites:
It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.

It is illegal to maim oneself to escape duty.

A law in Fairbanks does not allow moose to have sex on city streets.
its legal to hunt moose, but its punishable by law to disturb a moose to take its picture

When being attacked by a criminal or burglar, you may only protect yourself with the same weapon that the other person possesses.

If a police officer beleives that two persons are engaging in intercourse in their car then he must flash his lights and honk and then wait for 3 minutes before aproaching the car

A city ordinance states that a $500 fine will be given to anyone who detonates a nuclear device within city limits.

Anyone caught begging on public streets wil lbe fined $500

 

Those are some stupid laws, but the laws about bear wrestling is dumb as well. But there is a college near where I live with a trained bear that you can box. I wanna go down there and get my ass beat.

- Washington:
1. All lollipops are banned.
2. A law to reduce crime states: "It is mandatory for a motorist with criminal intentions to stop at the city limits and telephone the chief of police as he is entering the town.
3. In King County, in Seattle Washington, it is illegal to sit on a man's lap on a metro bus, unless you are married.
