When the boss kills you at a -23min speedrun , totally done with this game. GL to all participants though, PS: the rewards should be more rewarding ( the person that posted 78.6 martian days ), that's around 3hours of gameplay.

 

Just participating in this one. CBA to learn a new speedrun. I'm usually into this kinda stuff but I only have a day and I'm getting kinda bored after ~2 hours of failed runs

You have to get a minimal depth of -5000 in order to participate.

well i came in second i guess im not retrying i think you guys should keep the dead line there is a reason why people can win. Just give everyone that at least tried a participation award. TBH I spent 7hours plus learning this game made it good enough to get into secound and now you are extending it. Yeah if this keeps im not going to be in anymore events this is dumb.

People didnt "win" the game because its a challenge and no one "except me haha" is going to spend hours on this and the game for the reward you gave.Mechanic are crazy if you dont know them already. I think you should close the event and keep going. Not many people can beat the game and or people dont like the game so they choose not to play just because you add a few days people still are not going to try. I just did a speed run a few min ago and got it in 25min or less but im not submitting it because the dead line past what is your opinion? I mean you extended the dead line but no one has posted anything yet

I enjoy these events but if an event was not as sussful i think you just move on and learn. Why did the community not like this even. You put a rule you need 5k to participate but most people cant get past 4k.

 

This game is time consuming, yeah but it is far from hard. And nah, you're not the only one that spent several hours learning the mechanics, I've spent past 15hours trying to get the perfect spawn for the artifacts to speedrun, but then again what driven me was actually to try and beat the world record lol, but he probably had much more practice than me so eventually I just gave up, but you should post your 23mins record, then people might actually try to beat it @ryanboyd , and your current record is placed @ third most likely
