So You've Got A Band...Now What? (My Guide)

I have been in a few metal/hardcore bands in my day. I'm starting up a new one at the moment, if anyone is interested I can hit them up when my new band gets into recording.

 

I never had a band but if I did these would be my steps. Get us all together and go to a restaurant then go on the roof top at night and play. If we need each other contact through myspace

Im 13, and me and a some friends formed a band. We joined up at school. Im obviously the youngest, but i have somewat talent. I've been playing the guitar for four years and im loving it.

Our music teacher got us to play infront of the whole school (Our first 'gig')
then some of the year 12s and 11s got us connections. We have done 3 Proper gigs!

We play Punk Rock, mainly follow Three days grace/ Relient K.

 

Wow man, theres alot of good stuff here. Pretty much what my band is doing at the moment. It helped. =]

I'm a drummer in a band in North Carolina...

( NO PERSONAL INFO RELEASED HERE, BACK OFF STALKERS. )
We play some decent punk tunes and some covers..

We've had a few gigs but our best one was about 2 weeks ago.
It was insane, we played one of the greatest shows I think ever.

And I Fought the Law ( The clash )

Oh it was rad, we had a 10 man mosh pit going and we made around 70 bucks each in tips
