About Mountain Drew / his de-MMing

Mountain Drew has been de-MM'd, because he scammed someone a long time ago. However, since then he has come back, and been a great asset to the community. He MM'd fairly large trades (65-70m), and never did anything suspicious. Because of this, he is being given the chance to earn his rank back.

He is making a new MM application. If he can complete this application with new proofs, it will show that the Sythe community is willing to accept his past mistakes, and give him another chance - and he will become an official MM again.

 

Agreed, in most areas.

Well, Mountain_Drew, you'll be welcomed back into our loving arms soon enough.

 

Oh, my. I heard about this, but saw no proof. He certainly does seem to have reformed, though.

Thanks. Hopefully this won't be as hard as I think it's gonna be to fill another app. It could take a day or it could take 200 days- it's hard to say at this point. I just hope that the staff as well as the members of sythe.org are okay with this decision.

Most importantly, I hope the sythe.org members can help me on my way back to official MM.

Drew, I've talked to you before on MSN and don't seem like the scamming type. We've all had our one-offs, yours just happened to be pixels. I'm more than welcome to forgive you. Get to work on your application

Edit: This case seems fairly similar to SlaveOfTheBeast's. If Mountain_Drew is given a second chance, shouldn't SlaveOfTheBeast be given one as well?

No. He tried to sell his sythe account. When I saw that someone called me out as a scammer in the staff challenge thread, I could of went on a huge scamming spree. I easily could of pulled off a load of money by scamming the shit out of everyone on my msn that asks me to MM 24.7. I didn't, did I? He tried to sell his sythe account.

And to answer everyones question it was 30m that I scammed a while ago. I have MMed trades 2x more than that, easily.

 

Personally, If someone can not scam all that time, doing decently large trades, becoming one of the few trusted people on the site without any apparent wrong doing and its obvious that they have changed there ways, I don't think he should be punished.

But on the other hand, it is a reasonably fair deal considering he isn't given TWC or even banned, and is given the opportunity to keep his account and earn back his respect.

Hmm, Im a bit iffy in some area's of this, I think once someone has scammed they can scam again... However i also think anyone can scam, its just up to how well they can hold it in. Official mm's are very capable of holding it in, therefore aslong as Mountain has learned a bit of it; he may be trustworthy again.

Some guy that used to be a friend of mine, got banned and said you made fake proof on him. I always thought he was probably lying, but was always too lazy to ask you =p.

 

.001% of scammers in my opinion want to take back their mistake. I am that .001% of this population. I'd pay back in full plus an extra few mills the guy I scammed if I could get ahold of him.

Granted, you're right almost 100%, but at the same time you are dead fucking wrong. You'll see when I prove you wrong.
