24 hours ban exist in rs?

And my ban offence expires 1 year later at 2018 Jun- so, do my ban meter get back to 0 or no?

 

Usually nowadays if you bot, you get a permanent macroing major ban same with RWT. They are usually not appeal able, you'd have to manually try appealing through twitter or reddit

 

If the account is old enough and you didn't bot for profit, they give you a 24-48 hour ban and the next one is permanent. I've had this happen to a few 07 accounts as well when I would alch in my POH, resulting in a 48 hour ban and not a perm. Not sure how they exactly pick which one to give you but I think if you weren't making any money from it or gold-farming, they will give you another chance.

This isn't always the case though so consider yourself lucky!

 

Your account will be flagged anyways incase you bot again, better dont.

Wow, I didn't know this even existed. Whatever happened to just banning a bot and never allowing them back into the game?

 

It goes back to 0 once the offence has terminated. 48hr bans exist also.

 

Yes, they do exist on the severity of what you've done.

 

Think if you havnt been banned before for botting youll get a 24/48 hours first.

After that i wouldnt suggest doing it again cos its probably going to be perm.

 

My first ban was 24 hours, second ban was 2 weeks, third ban permanent.

The first two where like 4 years ago, perm ban 2 weeks.

 

pretty sure shortest ban is 48 hours. I always get 48 hours for bitting first time

 

First off, that's a 2 day ban. They don't say 2 day ban because obviously when they issue a 48 day ban, by the time you login to the RuneScape forum, it is actually 47 hours 55 minutes hence they only call it 1 day because it is in fact 1 day, 23 hours and 55 minutes. It only tells you in terms of days, not in terms of hours and minutes. Also, the meter will stay at 50% I'm afraid. Best thing to do is appeal the ban.
