Recent users

My suggestion is to have a separate line below the "active users" on a thread, whether it is for only OP or anyone, but, showing who has visited the thread, how long ago, up to 25(or so) users. This would help people who list job resumes and reach out to users who may be interested in something.

 

Sounds a little too transparent.

Nah, I wouldn't want a public record kept of my activity on the site. Plus just because I click on a thread to view it doesn't mean I'm interested in whatever topic that thread is going on about.

 

If we had this I wouldn't mind (given we have a toggle), but I don't see any need if the development time could be used on more important things.

 

development time can be much better spent elsewhere

 

Browsing threads does not equivocate to interest in that specific thread; as if they were interested, they would likely post and/or PM the OP. I do not think we should set aside more space for viewing individuals who have viewed a thread (not counting some market threads would have ridiculous amounts of previous users) + we would also need to implement an opt-out feature.
