It's not impossible, but the only way it could ever happen is if everyone was under 1 country, persons, or government... Doubt that will ever happen.

 

Half the world is too poor to fight anyway, therefore the poor countries will be starving and uncontent although peaceful, and the rich countries will be contented and peaceful.

i do agree that complete world peace is a hard target to say the least
but i do believe that it is possible to have all countries at peace with eachother
