Modest much? Actually, it's the gold farmers that caused this. Jagex doesn't really care about the small sales that we do. The gold farmers have much more gp then we do. My guess would be a few accounts with the maxed gp on it.

I have a good friend who is an insider when it comes to jagex updates and knows someone on the inside. He says that if enough people are upset about the duel arena update they may consider bringing back original staking as well as having the tournaments...He showed me this site where yea can make petitions.

It isn't completely RL Traders faults. Jagex also wanted to lower the price of rares to make them "a fun item for everyone" again, and seeing as the main source of the high prices of rares was because of duelling, they put this cap on the staking limit.

 

Ty JaGeX, i lost weeks of my life on my staker to win what??? A measly 3k WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG, they should keep the tournement but let the stakes be the same in 1v1!!!
