A Few Blackmarket GP Trading Suggestions

When my gold site is up and running i will be introducing the following procedures. Which i will also give to sythe.org

1. Mills will be verified by a staff member, this will cut alot of the Bullshit sellers that claim to have mills but don't have anything

2. A bond will be paid to an allocated member who holds the cash during the duration of the GP Sales, should the seller scamm the bond will be forfeited and donated to sythe. No scammer would want to pay a bond. Once the amount of mills for sale has been sold, they recieve their bond back and can sell the last amount.

 

Those are some great ideas, but lets face it. Sythe's staff aren't paid, and would be too lazy to do this for all the trades.

 

1. Sythe has a lot of members. Everyone won't be able to get their mills verified. Most of the staff won't do it, unless they get a fee.
2. The thing is, runescape accounts get banned. What if the account with the bond money gets banned?

I quite like the bond idea, however, how can a seller sell when a Middleman is being used?

 

Easy, the bond is held by the allocated member and the seller proceeds with buisness as usual.
After the mills are verified. They pay a percentage of their mills as a bond which is held until all their mills are sold leaving the bond left to sell which is then returned so they can sell their bond and be finished.

 

1. Verifying mills will be easy even if just mms do it or another reputable member.
2. Yes they do, but not one account will hold all bonds. Possibly maybe a disclaimer? Stating that they know the nature of the buisness, should the account be banned that is holding the bond they forfeit any re imbursement? I don't know. Just ideas in progress.

i-support, more needs to be done to stop scammers

not saying that alot isn't being done about them, just not enough prevention

 

Just because they want a staff position doesn't mean they deserve it..
