Either thats a Jmod, Or thats the popular monkey glitch from about 2 years ago making a return.

 

Get a bunch of people confused people following you.

 

Being posted a lot on Reddit in last 2 months or so definitely just the glitch

 

Saw before that this is a glitch to do with OSBuddy or similar clients not showing models properly

 

Client side errors are only shown to the user of the client.



The glitch has to do with Manaiacal Hunting.

In order to perform the glitch, you need to enter any visual effect transformation (I.E, monkey greegree, ghosts ahoy bed sheets, Penguin suit, sleigh ride, ect). Then you need to perform an infinite stall. (I'm unsure of the new method to stall). When you perform the stall, then you press logout. The game server side will treat your character as if it's logged out, but you will still be able to run around and move due to the stall performed earlier. Then you simply teleport to your house (To make the character models glitch out ridiculously because the game will try to re correct the transformation models into fitting the normal character model). Then you can teleport anywhere and enjoy the glitch.

You are also invincible when performing this glitch, but also can't attack other players or monsters.

I used to PAFT/Bug abuse back in the day with Erik Og Joa and Some members of Hax unit. But I don't know any new methods and haven't actively been looking.

 

do jagex perm ban for stuff like this? seems pretty harmless

 

For actual bug abuse where you gain an advantage perm bans are handed out.

This is just graphical, never seen anyone get banned for it.
