I believe that world peace can not be united with everyone in the world being happy or at least content with their lifestyle.

Defense does not mean the right to make a preemptive strike. The first one to strike is the guilty party.

Our ultimate goal should be to adopt a rule that government leaders should have no right to kill anybody.

...all nuclear, biological and chemical weapons are not defensive weapons and should be eliminated.

...nations have no right to use military violence to settle their differences. ...the one who strikes first is the culprit and deserves the condemnation of the world community.

Nations should be allowed to defend themselves and the blame should be placed on the one who initiated the violence.

...a criminal has no right to defend himself from punishment imposed by a legitimate government.

The legitimacy of the government is important in this scene.

The government must be the choice of the people.

The government should be the assurer of nonviolence.

There must be some freedoms as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, especially freedom of speech and freedom for religions.

The majority must be charitable.

It must have a military and diplomatic policy of defense-only.

A government should be considered negligent if it does not provide the means for earning a living for all the people who want to work.

What everyone needs to know is the reality of how our actions reflect to, or affects the Earth.
If one person in the world is motivated to try to do as much as they can to do things to save Earth; it is not enough.
If someone, something, or a whole group spreads a huge fact such as things that will shock most people, it may change them.
It will be very difficult, because you are facing about 6billion people that have a mind of their own.

What i'm proving wrong IS a negative.

So I have to prove:

...this may be quite the challenge.

 

We can try to make everyone happy, but it will merely last less than a month, before people get bored of peace.

 

Its funny. We actually went over the exact same topic in history class.

As the buhdists believe, it is better to want, then to have. If everyone wants world peace, it will come. Many people dont want world peace E.G- north korea, middle east, there fore it will not happen.

 

zz if everyone stop scolding vulgar and stop being a violent ass then there may b world peace..

 

I don't mean to hurt anyones hopes or dreams, but world peace will never happen and if anybody thinks it will you are ignorant.

 

uhh. like 5 best friends could kill EVERY LIVING THING in the world, thus they would have peace amongst eachother. this means world peace.

 

Destroy the world, and start your own. If you are the only one in existence, (and are mentally stable) then you should most likely not argue but rather be at peace with yourself.

World peace will never exist; people hate each other too much, and no matter how kind or "pure" people may tend to say they are, they will turn on those words and be evil.

 

When the world comes to an end and no life exists will be the only time complete world peace exists.

 

The one person scenario probably wouldn't work.

Look what happens to people in solitary confinement. Think about what would happen if you KNEW that there were no more people on earth - no use in going to try and look for people...

That would be depressing indeed. And that fails the resolution at hand.
