Donating & Name change?

When you donate, do you get the ability to change your username? Been looking into donation and I'd like to change my username as it's not really one I like.

You request it in donor louge
and admin appove it.

Please bear in mind your desired name must be available/not taken.

Removal of numbers in a name where the alternative is available (Example: Name1224 to Name)

Replacement of a number in a name (Example: N4m3 to Name)

Removal of characters such as underscores or hyphens where the alternative is available (Example: User_Name to User Name or UserName)

Capitalisaton or de-capitalisation of name (Example: name to Name or Name to name)

Removal of special characters in rare cases where the user profile glitches

Removal of random letters that do not add to the username

Minor corrections of spelling

How to apply for a username change:

You fill out a Name Change Request Form below.

An Administrator reviews your request and if it fulfils requirements:

If you fall under honourable name change request number 1, 2, 3 or 4 above, your request will usually be honoured.

If you fall under honourable name change request number 5, 6, 7, or 8 your request will be reviewed by staff and need a majority approval. This will take a week.

If your name is changed, your UserTitle will be edited to reflect your previous name for 6 months unless only capitalisation or de-capitalisation occurs - you will not be able to change it yourself in this time.

If your name is not changed, you will be notified as to why and given another opportunity to apply depending on the reasoning.

Your name change will forever be listed in the http://www.sythe.org/community-general/1882267-list-username-changes.html thread unless only capitalisation or de-capitalisation occurs.

You can contact an Administrator in 6 months to request your UserTitle be removed and UserTitle request perk be enabled for you again if applicable.

A note on banned names:

Well, unfortunately as per Richard's ruling, if an account is banned for blackhat, scamming, vading (a scamming ban), or anything like that - we can't use the name cause it's needed for future proof. If it was a spambot or some ban that isn't related to scamming or the other things mentioned above, then the name is up for grabs.

If your name change is affected by this you are welcome to apply for another change of sorts. Maybe in the future this can be overturned but as of now this is the case.

What is the discrepancy between a major & minor name change?

To summarize A Broken Man his post.
You need to donate 5$ for a minor change, like removing the zX out of your name. You need to donate $200 for a major name change like your current name to "BuyaccIsAwesome".

So to change my username to "Runescape Cartel" would be under the $200 donator category then. Alright, thanks both of you. Wasn't completely sure how it worked.

Yes that's correct 200$ that would be major name change ,
you could alternatively make a new account which your allowed to do as long as they don't interact

There would be no repercussions to that? As long as I only used that account I'd be fine? And what about vouches?

They can't interact so the vouch's would be gone.
You would have to just forget about them,
The only rules about making a new account are involving ban or twc , or my favouriet dnt evasion, which you are not banned, and fake vouch or interacting between account, so no it's allowed,
Just in case you don't want to take my word about because I'm a DNT I will tag a mod or two,
