Help me choose a watch.

I just graduated from highschool and want some memory of this moment. Ive always wanted a watch and now feels like the perfect time to get one.

Budget is not really an issue unless its over 2k. Thanks

Preferably, post the price and why you think its good.

 

Rolex they have been around for a long time and make the most persice time watch in the world I can't show prices but go to your local Rolex shop. They also have many different models with gold and diamonds etc choose your fancy.

OT: Get an Apple Watch. They have other functions aside from just telling time.

 

Im not going for anything like an apple watch or fitbit.

I want something fashionable and appealing to the eye.

I know Rolex is a good company but it may be oht of my budget

 

So are you looking for something to wear on your wrist everyday or just on special occasions?

 

Preferably for daily use.

Daily use? Fossil/Skagen anything between $100 - $300.

If you want an expensive watch to attract people's attention you'll be attracting the wrong people's attention.

What do you like? Mesh/leather/links? Silver/black/gold/brown?

 

Was looking for something more recognized and willing to spend some decent money. It is my graduation

I can't decide Its so hard to choose. Bracelet looks better, but leather is more comfortable.

 

I personally like the metal. Looks nicer for sure.

Most Fossil watches are pretty cheap but they look very nice if you're wearing as a casual user. Could easily buy a few different watches with your budget.

 

Why does it have to be such a hard choice...

 

Time is money so I went and bought a Rolex

there's no other choice

you can get good condition rolexes second hand for around $2-3k, and you'll be using the watch until the day you die

 

Get a rolex if you can afford it

Hard to let go of 2 grand as an 18 year old

 

Skagen watches are really nice and tend to be under $500 (some as low as ~$100). Made in Denmark with a lifetime warranty, really sleek designs. I recently bought my first watch and my buddy who has around a dozen ranging from Fossil to Movado steered me towards Skagen for my first "nice" watch without breaking the bank.
